Through contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations, the Foundation raises funds for new programs, service enhancements and capital projects. Private support from Foundation donors helps supplement the Library’s essential public funding from the City of White Plains. What We Fund Opportunities for language learning, job advancement and civic engagement Innovative technology including as 3-D printers, virtual reality, video production equipment, and supplies for robotics and coding classes New initiatives like Trove Time (for caregivers with toddlers) and Wellness Wednesdays Art exhibits, cultural celebrations and author events Poetry Slam – nationally recognized, now in its 14th year This Week on Martine – the Library’s newsletter with over 12,000 email subscribers Enhancements like the red flags by the front entrance, children’s furniture and much more!
